Made Up (dialogue list)
written by Owen Eric Wood
all text read by narrator
Well, I don't have a particular 'type' of guy that I like.
I used to have things that I liked and things that I didn't like but then I would find myself falling for a guy who somehow defied those things that I thought I liked, or he was something that I didn't expect.
If you place this sort of long list of specific criteria, it really limits the opportunities, the potential experiences that you could have.
But physically, there are things that I like.
I like guys who are my height and weight. If a guy's like 6' 4" and as hot as a professional model that should be on the cover of a magazine, he's too tall for me so I'm not attracted to that.
I have to admit, I like guys with lean, muscular bodies, with bodies that are very athletic, like a dancer or a gymnast or something like that. But not too muscular. I don't like guys who go to the gym like seven days a week, and, you know...
In terms of things like eye colour or hair colour, or even race, it doesn't even register to me. These things aren't important. You could be Asian or Latino or whatever and you're either attractive or your not.
But I like guys who are masculine.
It's kind of a turn off when a guy is really gay, like really gay acting.
I sometimes see guys who are really flamboyant and they care a lot about their clothes and they spend a long time on their hair and they act all gay and I think, "Did you just discover you were gay, like yesterday?"
I prefer if guys are straight acting, you know, normal, like they dress normal and they act like any other person.
Just because you're gay doesn't mean you have to be gay... I mean, like, act gay.
I'm a man who is attracted to men. I'm not attracted to women or men who act like women or men who want to be a woman.
Gay people should be masculine. They should act like men.
I prefer guys who are masculine.
